Dr Asma’a Gundru

Dr. Asma’a started working at the Palm Beach Surgery in 2016 as a GP registrar. She has competed an undergraduate degree in BioMedical science before completing her MBBS in 2013 from Bond University. Dr. Asma’a completed her residency at the Gold Coast University Hospital and hopes to continue to practice and serve the Gold Coast community. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice – including internal medicine, women’s health, child and adolescent health and preventive medicine.

Dr Katherine Morgan

Dr Katherine Morgan started at Palm Beach Surgery in January 2016. She works Thursdays, Fridays and most Wednesday afternoons at the practice. She has a degree in Science and Arts and went on to complete her MBBS at the University of Queensland in 2005.

Dr Hiba Gundru

Dr Hiba Gundru joins the Palm Beach Surgery team as a GP registrar for 2017. She graduated from medical school in 2014 from Bond University as class valedictorian and was the recipient of the University Gold Medal in Medicine. She has spent the last two years working at both Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital, which also included secondments to rural hospitals, sparking her keen interest in general practice.

Dr. Mohan Purshothaman

Fondly known as “Dr Mohan”, completed MBBS in 1989 the prestigious Madras Medical College in India, went on to undertake postgraduate education in Medical Microbiology at Post Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras and completed MD in Medical Microbiology.

Dr Elloise Randle

Dr Elloise Randle joins the Palm Beach Surgery in 2017 as a part time registrar. She is a local girl who grew up on the Gold Coast and then completed her Medical Degree at Bond University. She has worked at Gold Coast University Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Ipswich Hospital in many areas of medicine but has predominantly been involved in obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatrics. Dr Randle was awarded the Diploma of Child Health from Westmead Children's Hospital in 2015. After some time off in 2016 following the birth of her first child, Dr Randle brings to Palm Beach Surgery a passion for treating her patients holistically, with a special interest in treating women and children.
